|
The universe is created
by the Almighty. |
 |
The Almighty cannot be known unless He reveals
Himself. He has revealed Himself through nature and through the
Scriptures. |
 |
The Scriptures (comprised of the Tanakh [Torah
{Law}, Nevi’im {Prophets} and Ketuvim {Writings}] and the
Apostolic Writings) is the only divinely inspired, infallible, and
eternal Word of the Almighty in its original texts and manuscripts.
The Scriptures in its totality is applicable to mankind throughout
all ages and is the only rule by which all mankind is bound and
will be judged by. |
 |
The Almighty has revealed Himself as YHWH,
the one indivisible eternal spirit, who is uncreated and exists
by and of Himself. He is infinite in power, knowledge and presence,
and is completely holy and absolutely just yet exceedingly merciful.
Yet, mankind cannot comprehend the fullness of the Almighty’s
attributes. |
 |
Mankind was created as finite beings in the
image and likeness of the Almighty to walk in love and obedience
to the Almighty. However, mankind disobeyed the Almighty (sinned)
and brought upon himself the punishment of death. |
 |
Before mankind was created, the Almighty foreknew
that mankind would sin and because of His love, planned that pardon
be provided through the sacrifice of the blood of the perfect, sinless
man. |
 |
The Almighty revealed Himself in human flesh
in the perfect, sinless man Yeshua the Messiah. Yeshua was born
of a virgin, had an earthly ministry in the land of Israel, lived
a sinless life in accordance with the Tanakh, became the perfect
sacrifice for sins by dying on a tree, was resurrected bodily on
the third day and ascended to Heaven. |
 |
Yeshua’s sacrifice was perfect and cannot
be added to; it is a gift provided by the Almighty’s unmerited
favour and cannot be earned. |
 |
Yeshua’s sacrifice is appropriated by
faith. Faith is not mental assent but is belief coupled with obedience.
Obedience requires (1) admitting and forsaking sin, (2) being immersed
in water calling on the Name of Yeshua for the washing away of sin
and receiving new life, and (3) receiving the infilling of the Almighty’s
Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. By this process,
we are called ‘born again’, ‘saved’, ‘enter
the Kingdom of the Most High’, ‘children of the Most
High’, ‘members of the Body of Messiah’, ‘believers’
and so forth. |
 |
The Almighty made an everlasting covenant with
Avraham and repeated it to Yitzhak, Yaakov and their descendants
Yisrael. This covenant cannot be annulled. Believers do not replace
Yisrael or the covenant made with Yisrael through Avraham. Instead
believers are grafted into Yisrael and become partakers of the covenant
of Avraham. |
 |
As believers, our very nature is love, which
is evidenced by obedience to all of the Scriptures. The Almighty’s
Spirit writes the Scriptures in the hearts of believers so that
we may obey the Scriptures with reverence, purity and gladness and
not out of compulsion and fear. |
 |
Obedience to the Scriptures includes living
holy, modestly and separate from the world’s system in thought,
word and deed. Believers are permitted to begin their walk of obedience
by abstaining from idolatry, sexual immorality, strangled meats
and blood, and continue into maturity by further study and application
of the Scriptures, the integration into the community of believers
and submission to leadership. |
 |
The gifts, manifestations, ministries and offices
of the Almighty’s Spirit should be used and are encouraged
in the Body of Messiah under proper accountability. |
 |
Believers are to be witnesses of the good news
of Yeshua to all mankind, and make disciples of all nations. |
 |
Yeshua shall return bodily to the earth at
the end of the age to reign as King from Yerushalayim for a thousand
years. |
 |
Believers shall be raised or transformed with
a new body in the resurrection and shall live in everlasting blessedness. |
